Such a Good Day Yesterday

( written Yesterday) It is incredible that I am waking up at 5:05 am, at least the past two mornings, to get ready. I have been having worship and getting ready to go to the wellness center. Second day of Insanity, it officially kicked my butt. I think I had some bad water this morning too, so that didn't help. I felt so sick, I had to stop a few times on the way back because of the smells ( it is funny, because you will all of a sudden smell something really good, and a half second later almost be knocked over by a horrific smell). I made it back to the apartment, everything still in me. Practically crawled up the stairs, partially from the workout and feeling really sick. I had some charcoal, and that normally works for me. However I would never recommend having two on a practically empty stomach. About 10 seconds after swallowing, I stood up and then threw up over the side of the railing.

So aside from the start of the day it has been great. I took me a little longer to get ready, I was weak and shaky but I had an apple and I felt much better. We had orientation today, we learned a lot of stuff and we had a really boring lecture. But one important part of today was the Finances of the school. Because of the previous administration, which had issues other than how to handle money. The school is in $116,000 in debt. And the school Needs Help. I will tell you all more about what they need, or how you could help if you wanted too when I find out more information.

After Lunch, and praying for the internet and power to come back on I went to help put together student hand books. I was the folder ( AKA I folded all of the packets before stapling)

I also found out which one of the classrooms was mine. It is right next to the AV room. Last year the apartment underneath it had serious termite damage. So they started to tare out the walls of the apartment. When doing that they realized how bad it was. A few days later my classroom floor feel through to the apartment. SO my classroom has been seriously updated. I have a brand new floor. :) it was painted yesterday a dark green. Very nice, Very nice.

After I helped with the hand outs I went back and Finally had internet. So I was able to Skype with my family. It was wonderful. I spend about an hour just talking with them. They also gave me a letter that my cousin Luke wrote me :) it was so sweet, it made me cry. I could clearly see the things that he was describing, and hear him talking to me. I miss my family very much. But Skype makes is much easier.

After Skype I went to get my textbooks, I am pretty much a nerd. I was so excited that I had books for all of my kids. About part way through collecting my books, it started to rain, pour more like it. So I left my books inside the room and will move them today.

We went to the hotel and had a endless pasta dinner, It was really good, I had 2 plates. Some of the guys had more than 5. It was nice to just sit and get to know more about the other SM's. I am sure I will come back with a funny accent. We have people from all over America, one from Canada, a few from Germany, Brazil, and southern africa. So many amazing people. After that we went back to school and had an open gym. We played volleyball. It was fun but not like home. To be honest it wasn't a lot like volleyball, my competitive side was going crazy. But after a while, it was no big deal.

This morning I went to Insanity again, and it was a recovery day. Thank goodness. I am still very sore. But it is a good kind of sore. We are in Orientation until 12:30 this afternoon and I hope to get into my classroom.

Then the hard work will begin.
